U.K. SHYAM IS SINGAPORE’S FORMER NATIONAL RECORD HOLDER IN THE 100M SPRINT. HIS RECORD STOOD FOR 22 YEARS UNTIL SEPT 2023. IN 2001, AT THE WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES IN BEIJING, HE RAN 10.37S, BREAKING C. KUNALAN’S 33-YEAR-OLD MARK OF 10.38S FROM 1968.
HE WAS THE FIRST LOCAL ATHLETE TO TRAIN FULL-TIME WHILE STUDYING AT NUS, A MOVE NOTABLE AT THE TIME. HIS CAREER DREW UNPRECEDENTED MEDIA ATTENTION AND SPARKED CONVERSATIONS ABOUT SPORTS, THE LOCAL ECOSYSTEM, AND THE MEANING OF SPORTS COMING FROM AN UNDER-RESOURCED BACKGROUND.

SHE ACHIEVED THIS MILESTONE ON HER DEBUT WEEKEND IN THE 2025 INDIAN F4 CHAMPIONSHIP, FINISHING IN THE POINTS IN RACE 2 AT THE KARI MOTOR SPEEDWAY. KAREEN CONTINUED TO SCORE POINTS IN F4 SOUTHEAST ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT.

ABOUT KENNETH HO

KENNETH STARTED SIM RACING AND AMATEUR GRASSROOTS EVENT WITH NO MOTORSPORTS BACKGROUND, JUST PURE HOBBY AND FUN.
HE GOT DISCOVERED BY TEAM SUPERSONIC BY WINNING VARIOUS GRASSROOTS TIME ATTACK AND KART RACES. IN 2023, HE GOT INVITED TO DRIVE AND WON THE SUPER ENDURANCE SOUTH EAST ASIA TROPHY. HE COMMITTED TO A FULL SEASON IN 2024 AND WON THE SUPER TURBO DIVISION 1 CHAMPIONSHIP. KENNETH HAS PARTNERED SHANE IN 2025 TO RACE IN THE TSS SUPERCAR GTC.

STARTED RACING VERY LATE IN HIS 30S (AS BOTH PARENTS WERE BANKRUPT WHEN HE WAS YOUNG).
SO HIS RACING DREAMS HAD TO START VERY LATE, AND HE HAD TO START RACING FROM THE LOWEST LEVEL. HE EVENTUALLY CLIMBED UP TO TOP TIER PRODUCTION CAR RACING IN SOUTH EAST ASIA.
