MEURAKI PRIVACY POLICY​

1. Introduction

1.1 This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the manner in which MEURAKI PTE. LTD. (UEN: 202426307W) (“MEURAKI”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”) and any other applicable data protection laws..
1.2 By accessing, registering for an account on, providing personal data to, or otherwise using the MEURAKI platform (“Platform”), you (“you”, “your”, “user”) expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy, and consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy and our Platform Terms and Conditions
1.3 This Policy applies to all individuals who access, use or interact with the Platform, including but not limited to Members, Subscribers, and any other users or individuals whose personal data is provided to or collected by MEURAKI

2. Collection of Personal Data

Certain platform interactions, including AI wellness conversations, may be associated with pseudonymous identifiers rather than direct account information. This system design helps reduce the connection between identity and wellness interactions while enabling the functionality of the Platform.

2.1 You must register and be issued an account to access and use the Platform. All information provided during registration must be true, accurate, and updated immediately in the event of any change.

  • automatically through your use of or interaction with our Platform (including technical and device information, cookies, and other tracking technologies); and
  • from third-party sources (such as social media platforms, marketing partners, or service providers) where you have provided consent.
2.2 The personal data that may be collected includes, without limitation:
  • identification details (including but not limited to name, date of birth, contact information, and account credentials);
  • identification documents or numbers (e.g., NRIC, passport number) where necessary for verification or compliance with applicable law;
  • location data where relevant to the provision of services;
  • User Content (including but not limited to profile images, reviews, posts, messages);
  • content provided through the AI Chatbot Service (e.g., prompts, interactions, and communications);
  • payment and transaction-related information;
  • technical and device-related data (e.g., IP address, browser type, operating system); and
  • any other personal data provided in connection with your use of the Platform or services.

2.3 Where personal data of individuals under 13 years of age is provided, you represent and warrant that verifiable consent has been obtained from a parent or legal guardian prior to such provision.

2.4 You shall ensure that all personal data provided to MEURAKI is accurate, complete, and not misleading. MEURAKI shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from the provision of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

3. Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure

3.1Personal data may be collected, used, disclosed and otherwise processed for purposes including but not limited to:
  • operating, managing, improving, and personalising the Platform and our services;
  • fulfilling transactions, services, and requests submitted by you;
  • conducting analytics, research, and development to enhance the Platform;
  • training, improving, or enhancing MEURAKI systems and services, including AI-enabled features, where permitted under applicable agreements with our service providers (including the AI Chatbot Service), in accordance with our Platform Terms and Conditions;

    – AI-enabled features available on the Platform, including the AI Chatbot Service, are designed to support wellness reflection, insights and general informational guidance. These features are not intended to provide medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice. Users should consult qualified professionals for advice relating to their personal circumstances.

    Users should avoid sharing sensitive personal or medical information in AI conversations unless they are comfortable doing so.

    Certain features of the Platform may generate insights or recommendations based on user interactions, participation signals, engagement patterns, or wellness activities on the Platform. These insights are generated through automated systems and are intended for informational and reflective purposes only. They do not constitute psychological evaluation, diagnosis, or professional assessment. 

  • marketing and promotional activities, where consent has been obtained (including via opt-in mechanisms integrated within our Platform flows);
  • compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, or to respond to lawful requests and directions from authorities;
  • enforcing our legal rights and obligations.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

4.1Personal data may be disclosed to:

  • our employees, officers, agents, consultants, affiliates, group companies and related corporations;
  • vendors, partners, service providers, subcontractors, and professional advisers engaged for the purposes set out in this Policy;
  • Subscribers and other users of the Platform, to the extent necessary to fulfil transactions or provide services;
  • government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement authorities where required by law or necessary for compliance purposes.
4.2 Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, MEURAKI shall ensure that the recipient affords a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA. Such safeguards may include contractual undertakings, reliance on certifications (such as the Data Protection Trustmark), performance of due diligence, or the reservation of audit rights over vendors or subcontractors.
4.3 Should MEURAKI engage with government agencies, corporates, or enterprise clients requiring enhanced data protection measures (including subcontractor obligations, audit rights, or enhanced international transfer safeguards), we shall provide a tailored Data Protection Addendum or supplementary documentation upon request.

5. Retention of Personal Data

We shall retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Thereafter, personal data shall be securely disposed of or anonymised in accordance with our internal data retention and disposal policies.

6. Security of Personal Data

MEURAKI implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Such safeguards may include, without limitation, encryption, access controls, and security monitoring.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to facilitate the functionality of our Platform, improve user experience, and conduct analytics. Cookies may be strictly necessary, functional, or used for performance and advertising purposes. You may adjust your browser settings to refuse or manage cookies; however, this may affect certain features or functionality of the Platform.

8. Access, Correction and Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by MEURAKI, and to withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services to you. All requests shall be made in writing to: dpo@meuraki.com.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Platform may contain links to external websites or resources not operated by MEURAKI. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of such third parties. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of those external sites.

10. Amendments

MEURAKI reserves the right to amend this Policy at its sole discretion from time to time. The revised Policy shall take effect upon publication on the Platform. Where changes are material, we may notify you via email or in-app notification, as we deem appropriate.

11. Relationship to Platform Terms

This Policy forms an integral part of our Platform Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Platform Terms and Conditions, the provisions of this Policy shall prevail in respect of matters relating to data protection, to the extent permitted by law.
